Universidad del Pacífico presented its 2020 honor roll
March 29 , 2021
During the opening ceremony of the 2021 academic year, the President of Universidad del Pacífico, Felipe Portocarrero, acknowledged the effort and learning acquired when facing the challenge of virtualization.
Universidad del Pacífico celebrated the opening of the 2021 academic year in a virtual ceremony attended by students and authorities. During the event, the 2020 Honor Roll was unveiled, featuring the students who excelled academically (top two in each program) and received the Robert Maes Award, as well as the top two first-year students, who received a special award. The Honor Roll also acknowledges students who engage in educational activities beyond their degree programs with the Extracurricular Excellence Award. The students are distinguished in six categories: Argumentation, Art and Culture, Sports, Entrepreneurship, Research and Social Service.

The President of Universidad del Pacífico, Felipe Portocarrero, spoke about the university's performance in the midst of the complex global health crisis. "The path traveled has brought enriching personal and collective experiences, lessons learned that have strengthened our capabilities in directions we had not anticipated. A hidden potential has emerged and has allowed us to navigate through the most difficult crisis of our entire institutional life”, he highlighted.

"We discovered during these hectic months that we are more than we had imagined a responsible, flexible and agile institution that reflects its unwavering commitment to the education of Peruvian youth in all its decisions", he added and declared. Watch the event again by clicking on this link
