The inclusion of this group of students means there are now 35 UP representatives within this international network, which fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and commitment to the community.
The Universidad del Pacífico congratulates the seven students who joined Alpha Sigma Nu, the prestigious honor society of Jesuit universities around the world, in December 2024. With this new intake, the UP brings its total to 35 members.
In 2020, the UP became the first university in Latin America to join the 90,000-member international network, with its emphasis on intellectual development and service to others. The Alpha Sigma Nu chapter at the UP maintains an active presence in university life through a host of student activities and social outreach.

At the first Silver Economy Forum linking Europe with Latin America and the Caribbean, the UP cited the inspiring story of Cecilia Barreto to show how entrepreneurship in one's fifties is both possible and profitable.
In 2024, more than 800 professors, researchers, and leaders from 38 public universities in Peru participated in the activities rolled out as part of the Educational Exchange Program (EEP) 2024.
