Educational Exchange Program 2024: see the results of the professor and researcher training and development program promoted by the Universidad del Pacífico
January 16 , 2025

In 2024, more than 800 professors, researchers, and leaders from 38 public universities in Peru participated in the activities rolled out as part of the Educational Exchange Program (EEP) 2024.

In line with our commitment to strengthen higher education in Peru, the Universidad del Pacífico coordinates the Educational Exchange Program (PIE)—a interuniversity initiative that, for the past 38 years, has contributed to improving the quality of university teaching, research, and management throughout the country.

A key platform

In 2024, the EEP was active in all 24 regions of Peru, consolidating itself as a crucial platform for the country's higher education. The 17 activities carried out during the year included in-person and virtual courses, workshops, and conferences involving professors, researchers, and authorities from 38 public universities. "Over the years that I have been part of the Educational Exchange Program, I have been able to appreciate the commitment of the network's public universities to achieving the objectives set. This has been reflected in the sustained growth in the number of professors, researchers, and leaders participating in EEP activities, as well as in the appraisals that each of these activities receives, "says Cecilia Montes, EEP general coordinator.

Inter-university impact and collaboration

Besides its training and development of participants, the EEP promotes a multiplier effect through the innovative academic and management activities in which these participants deploy in their own educational communities.. The Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo, the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa, and the Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana were the top-participating universities in 2024. It is important to note the role of the Universidad del Pacífico Board of Trustees in the program. The board's steadfast belief in the pursuit of academic excellence throughout the country's public universities pervades each and every EEP activity. Through continual growth and an expanding reach, the EEP will redouble its commitment to the development of innovative and high-quality higher education in 2025.
