ENZO DEFILIPPI

Professional Profile

Full Professor in the Academic Department of Finance and member of the Research Center at Universidad del Pacífico. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), a Master's in Administration and a Master's in Public Policy from IESA (Venezuela), and a Bachelor's in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has also studied at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy).

He has over 30 years of professional experience as an academic, public official, and consultant. As an academic, he has worked in research centers in Peru and abroad, publishing papers on regulation, antitrust, public-private partnerships, tourism, and transportation. As a public official, he has held various positions in the Peruvian Government, including Vice Minister of Economy, Chairman of the Board of COFIDE, Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Production, member of the ProDesarrollo Committee of ProInversión, and Director of the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).

As a consultant, he has provided services to the European Commission, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Andean Community of Nations, various United Nations programs, numerous international development agencies, and a wide array of companies in different economic sectors in Peru and abroad.
Prof. Defilippi is an expert in business valuation and an expert appraiser of patrimonial damages. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Italian Transport Regulation Authority and a columnist for the newspaper Gestión.
