Professional Profile
Dr. Beltran is Academic Vice President of the Universidad del Pacífico, Full Professor in the Academic Department of Economics, and Member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico. She holds a Doctorate in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Master of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University and a Licentiate in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico. Previously, she was Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, and Head of the Academic Department of Economics at the Universidad del Pacífico.
Beyond the university, Dr. Beltran is an international consultant on issues of public management, social policies, and gender-responsive participatory budgeting. In the field of social policies, she has conducted quantitative analysis of the coverage and quality of educational and health services, economic gender gaps, and the care economy.
