In accordance with the Law No. 29733 (hereinafter the Law) and the Supreme Decree No. 003-2013-JUS (hereinafter the Regulation), the user authorizes by signature or any other form of automated express acceptance, the processing of personal data provided to the Universidad del Pacífico (hereinafter University) by any physical or electronic means.
The University, located at Av. Salaverry No. 2020, district of Jesus Maria, claims to be the owner of the Bank of Personal Data and informs that the recipients of the personal data will be the offices of Academic Services, Admission, Data Intelligence and any academic or administrative unit of the University, with the purpose of using them in institutional, administrative and commercial management, as well as processing and managing information to meet the needs of its stakeholders. Depending on this, the University is authorized to forward information via postal mail, telephone or electronically will be used, or any other means of communication, on their different academic programs of post graduate, executive education and languages, satisfaction surveys, and academic, artistic, cultural and entertainment events.
In addition, the user authorizes the University to share, give or transfer this data to third parties under the guarantee that these will not be affected by any misuse. In case the users wish to exercise their rights to revoke the consent, modification or any other, they may go to the Data Intelligence office, the same that is located on Calle Inca Rípac No. 395, district of Jesus Maria or write to revocatoria.postulantes.interesados@up.edu.pe. This office is obliged to inform on the proceedings to enforce the above rights.
It becomes known to the users that the forms through which they grant their personal data, including mandatory and optional questions, which may be identified in each form. The consequences of granting personal data, authorizes the University to use them according to the purpose mentioned in the preceding paragraph. The refusal on the granting of personal user data prevents the University to include them in their database that sends instant and updated information regarding undergraduate careers, university extension courses or any academic program offered by the University, as well as other activities related to the University.
