MARTINA VINATEA
Senior professor at the Academic Department of Humanities, attached to the School of Business Sciences. Holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Philology from UNED (Spain) and a Licentiate Title in Linguistics and Literature with a major in Hispanic literatures from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She was the winner of the Extraordinary Research Award 2013-2014 granted by UNED, Madrid (Spain). She is part of Universidad del Pacífico Research Center, where she runs the “Proyecto Estudios Indianos” (Indiano Studies Project) (www.estudiosindianos.org) in coordination with the Centro de Estudios Indianos (CEI, Indiano Studies Center) of Universidad de Navarra (Spain). This project develops initiatives related to the management and dissemination of the colonial textual and artistic heritage. In addition, she is Co-director of Centro de Estudios Indianos de la Universidad de Navarra (Indiano Studies Center of Universidad de Navarra). She is a member of the International Association of Hispanists (AIH) and the Golden Age International Association (AISO). Her areas of expertise revolve around colonial (16th, 17th and 18th centuries), religious and devotional literature, colonial lyric, textual criticism (ecdotics), metrics and rhythm, morphology, syntax and academic writing. At Universidad del Pacífico, she is in charge of mandatory courses: Remedial Language, Language I and Language II; and elective courses: Literature and Society in the Spanish and Hispano-American Golden Age.

MARTÍN MONSALVE

Professor in the Academic Department of Humanities at Universidad del Pacífico. He is also director of the Publishing Fund and director of Apuntes, a journal of Social Sciences. He holds a PhD and MA in History (with a major in Latin America) from Stony Brook University (State University of New York).

ALONSO  VILLARAN

ALONSO VILLARAN

Professor assigned to the Academic Department of Humanities at Universidad del Pacífico and researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center. Ph.D. in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago (United States) and lawyer from Universidad de Lima. He holds a Diploma in Philosophy granted by Escuela Superior Antonio Ruiz Montoya.
