Validation and Exoneration: International Baccalaureate
Admitted applicants in the Direct Entry for Baccalaureate Graduates route who obtained the International Baccalaureate Program Diploma may request validation of the subjects Nivelación en Matemáticas (Remedial Mathematics) and Nivelación en Lenguaje (Remedial Spanish Language), provided that they have attained the minimal scores stated in the validation tables. For this purpose, admitted applicants should enclose a print copy of the results published on the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) website, duly sealed by the school of origin, at the moment of carrying out the entry confirmation.
Validation is granted automatically. In the event that an Admitted Applicant prefers not to validate said remedial courses, the Admissions Office should be notified at the moment of entry confirmation.
In addition, Admitted Applicants in this admission route may sit exams to be exonerated from the following subjects: Mathematics I, Spanish Language I and General Economics I. To sit these exams, the student needs to have previously had Remedial Mathematics or Remedial Spanish Language validated, meeting the required scores.
Validation: Post-Secondary Education (French, German or Italian Baccalaureate)
Students who have pursued post-secondary studies should state, at the moment of entry confirmation, the subjects they wish to have validated (only Remedial Mathematics and Remedial Spanish Language), enclose the syllabi of the equivalent subjects and the results attained. The requested information will be reviewed in order to grant the corresponding validation.
Documents issued in a language other than Spanish should have a Traducción Oficial (Official Translation) into Spanish and be provided with scores in a vigesimal scale (from 0 to 20).
