Professor at Universidad del Pacífico Academic Department of Economics and researcher at its Research Center (CIUP). PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico.
He was a post-doctoral researcher at Centro Vernon Smith de Economía Experimental at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala); and professor of Economics at the same university.
In addition, he has served as consultant to the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the World Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
