Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center and professor at the Academic Department of Finance at Universidad del Pacífico. He holds a Ph.D. in Economic and Business Science with a major in Financial Economics from Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), a Master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University (Netherlands) and a Licentiate TItle in Management from Universidad del Pacífico(Peru).
Professor Mongrut has carried out research work in the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. He currently serves as professor of finance at EGADE Business School of Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), as member of Universidad del Pacífico Research Center(Peru) and member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. He has also been director of the Environmental and Sustainability Management Accounting Network - America (EMAN-AM), professor of Research Management Models for Entrepreneurship at Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey and member of the research group for uncertainty (IAFI) of Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).
Dr. Mongrut has been visiting professor in more than 20 universities in Latin America and Europe and has authored more than 100 research and popular articles in the areas of finance for entrepreneurship, finance for emerging markets and sustainable finance.
